A meeting of this Board, medical advisors to the Foundation, was held in Cape town after the OSSA Congress. Professor Trevor Carmichael, Head of Ophthalmology at Wits, was elected Chairman of the Board and he and Professor Raj Ramesar, Human Genetics, UCT, co-principle investigator of our Gene Tracking Project, were elected as representatives to the International SMAB.
