People affected by Retinitis Pigmentosa and Usher Syndrome who wish to use Vitamin A are reminded that regular liver function tests are absolutely necessary. Vitamin A palmitate 15 000 IU per day is the recommended dosage. Annique are now unfortunately adding Beta Carotene to their 5000 IU capsules. As the body will metabolise some of this Beta Carotene into Vitamin A, please consult your doctor as to this effect on your daily Vitamin A dosage.
